Tiny Ghost Press Newsletter 2.0, Issue #16, June 30, 2025
Hey freaky friends!

Happy Pride Month from us here at Tiny Ghost Press!!!
It's been a busy and rewarding month where publishing is concerned and we have lots of updates to share. Though I feel I would be remiss not to mention the continuing fight for queer rights, especially those of our trans siblings, in this Pride edition of our newsletter. This year we've seen the how the corporatisation of Pride falls apart when the pendulum of progression swings the other way, along with the roll back on trans right in the UK and the ongoing rise of flat out fascism in the US, so it's been an interesting Pride season, to say the least, but perhaps one of the most important and galvanising of our generation. Last week's banned yet record breaking turn out at Budapest Pride is perhaps a signal of the vibe this year. We need to remain vigilant, we need to continue the chants and the songs, we need to wave our flags even harder, because when our corporate sponsors fail us (as they are wont to do), when Pride becomes the protest it has always been, these are the moments when we need to unite and raise our voices, despite those who would try to silence us. And raising queer voices is paramount to our mission here at TGP. So our message to our wonderful readers this year is to stay strong, stay scary, and take care of each other. In the words of Brandi Carlisle...don't let them steal your joy!
Happy Pride, let's make it one to remember!

Speaking of Pride this year we developed our own line of Pride merch, a portion of profits from which are donated to queer charities. It was a real joy putting this collection together and we will continue to have this line available moving forward. You can still however get a discount as we are offering 20% off with the code PRIDE2025 until the end of the day! So hurry and don't miss out!
Probably the biggest publishing event of the month for us was the release of Running with the Alpha's Son, the third instalment in Penny Jessup's best selling queer teen werewolf romance series. With reviewers and readers alike calling it the best of the series, we've been overwhelmed with the positive response to this release and totally chuffed to say Running has not only been a No 1 new release in multiple categories on Amazon, it was the Number 1 best seller in multiple categories as well! This is huge news for us and for Penny (congrats!) and we are thrilled to see so many people enjoying this emotional and action packed series.

We were also thrilled to announce that we're coming back to hang with the wolves of the Elite Pack one more time in the fourth and final instalment in the series, publishing in Spring of 2026. For the moment, we'll be keeping more details than what you can find in the official announcement close to our chests. But rest assured there will be more drama, angst, and wolfy hi-jinks when Max and Jasper return for the concluding chapter to their story.

And speaking of book related announcements we were thrilled to reveal the cover for our upcoming trans-led horror romance Between the Walls by Caspian Faye, about the things that haunt us and leaving the past behind, which will be out September 30, just in time for Spooky Season. We have Fiona O'Shea to thank for the gorgeous artwork. Head over to the book's page on our website for more info and to preorder your copy!

Perhaps the biggest announcement we made this month was the launch of our two new imprints!!! Coming in 2026 we're launching two new imprints one to become the new home for all of our current spooky YA content, called Tiny Ghost Teen, and the other a brand new arm of our publishing company called Tiny Ghost Hearts, which will specialise in queer new adult romance stories. We are thrilled to be expanding into new adult romance and so eager to get publishing all sorts of HEAs with a hint of spice.

To that end we are on the hunt for new titles for both of these imprints and so we are opening our submissions inbox from tomorrow July 1st, until September 23rd!!! So if you have a queer romance or a queer YA novel you've been waiting send us, or just hanging out in your drafts, now is the time to polish it up and send it our way. We're so excited to lift up some new amazing queer voices. If you're interested in submitting to us, the guidelines can be found here on our website. We can't wait to read your work!
And that's it, I think...phew! As you can see this Pride month has been a busy one, but oh so rewarding, and we're so excited for even more announcements coming this month. So keep those grapes peeled and an eye on our socials.
And meanwhile I hope despite the state of the world it's been a happy, celebratory, rebellious, and tenacious pride. Let your monster out and howl like the wolfman. Read queer books and support indie queer companies, and as always...
Stay scary...
